Hampton Hood...

This one was a challenge!  Had to rip it all out three times, but in the end it was worth it!  Can't wait to make the next one in charcoal grey!

I haven't seen a pattern offered through The Velvet Acorn shop on Etsy that I didn't fall in love with!  The shop owner is so creative.  There is something so simplistically sophisticated (how's that for an oxymoron) about her nature-inspired cowls/ hoods/ hats.  I do not make these items en-masse as they are pricier than most, but I am always willing to work with any of her crochet patterns as a special order.

I have recently been asked to crochet a Hampton Hood in adult size and am looking forward to delivering this item!

Wynter Hat...It's Time!

November 2nd and the snow is falling!  This seems early...even for Northern Maine!  Guess it's time to break out the winter gear for the season!  This is probably my favorite winter hat!  Warm and soft, but cute, too!
